Job Responsibility:

• Help keep Kelowna Transit buses clean and fueled.
• Do various jobs around the transit yard and facility.
• Wash both inside and outside of vehicles.
• Follow your supervisor’s guidance on maintenance tasks.
• Always put safety first.
• Keep accurate records.
• Drive buses carefully in the yard.

Qualification:

• Strong safety focus and excellent attention to detail.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license (Class 2 with Air Brakes is a bonus).
• Experience in vehicle cleaning and detailing (preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Self-motivation and capacity to work independently.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities.

Work Shift:

In the job, you will need a different work shift, including weekends. you will be scheduled for at least 18 days each month. This means you’ll have a variety of work times, so flexibility is important.
