As an Administration Coordinator at Qatar Airways, your pivotal role involves providing vital administrative support to ensure the seamless functioning of the Food and Beverage department. This encompasses tasks like handling secretarial responsibilities, often involving confidential information.
You will also represent the department in managing communications, both over the phone and in written correspondence.
Moreover, you’ll take on specific projects under the guidance of the Senior Manager F&B or Operations Manager, supporting both departmental and corporate initiatives.
Key Accountabilities:
- Execute secretarial and administrative tasks for daily department operations.
- Handle office administration with tactfulness and refer inquiries appropriately.
- Manage schedules, appointments, travel arrangements, and communication records.
- Assist in business documentation, report writing, presentations, and spreadsheets.
- Independently handle multiple tasks and projects, meeting deadlines.
- Communicate information internally and externally for administrative support.
- Refer to routine matters and follow up for completion.
- Monitor staff duty travel papers and arrangements.
- Establish and maintain a confidential filing system for correspondence and materials.

Qualifications:
- Relevant Vocational, Tertiary, or Trade qualification
- Certificate in Computer applications (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (preferably in hospitality or F&B)
- Cross-cultural work environment proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises self-discipline
- Motivated, responsible, and focused
- Highly organized and self-driven
- Strong interpersonal and team-working skills
- Exhibits high sensitivity and professionalism
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
