As Pakistan and China mark 74 years of diplomatic relations, President” Asif Ali Zardari” has praised China’s Unwavering Support and Transformative Role in Pakistan’s Socio-economic Development
highlighting the enduring “iron brotherhood” that continues to deepen across ”generations.
In a statement released on ”Wednesday” President Zardari“ described the Pakistan-China partnership as a “cornerstone of our foreign policy” and a “shining example of mutual respect, trust, and win~win Cooperation.”
“China’s steadfast Support in Areas Like infrastructure, Energy, Health, Education, and technology has Been instrumental in uplifting Pakistan’s Economy and Reducing regional disparities,” the President Emphasized.
CPEC: A Game-Changer for Pakistan’s Economy
Zardari Specifically Lauded the ”China-Pakistan” Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a hallmark of Bilateral cooperation. He “Reiterated that the ”multi-billion-dollar” Initiative has not only Boosted Industrialization, connectivity, and 1 employment in Pakistan But also symbolized China’s Long-term Commitment to Pakistan’s Progress.
“CPEC is a strategic initiative with transformative potential, and we are determined to accelerate its implementation in the spirit of shared prosperity,” he added.

A Friendship “Higher than the Himalayas”
Both countries established diplomatic relations on May 21, 1951, and since then, the relationship has evolved into what both sides call an “all-weather strategic cooperative partnership.”
From joint military exercises and cultural exchanges to infrastructure development and humanitarian support, the Pakistan-China bond continues to flourish, with President Zardari affirming that the two nations will “stand shoulder-to-shoulder to meet regional and global challenges.”

Cooperation Expanding Into New Frontiers
President Zardari also commended China’s assistance in climate change mitigation, digital connectivity, and high-tech collaboration, describing these areas as “the new pillars of a modern, forward-looking partnership.”
He thanked Chinese leadership, especially President Xi Jinping, for their visionary Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which has paved the way for enhanced connectivity, peace, and development in the broader region.

As both ”countries” step into the 75th year Of bilateral Relations
observers expect greater Engagement in Green Energy, Innovation, Tourism, ”agriculture; and people-to-people Connectivity.
The anniversary was marked by a range of activities, including flag-hoisting ceremonies, Seminars, And Cultural Performances In Islamabad and Beijing.
