G20 Financial nclusion and Women Empowerment Conference 2025: A Milestone for Gender Equality
The 2025 G20 Conference on Financial Inclusion and Women Empowerment, Held on May 6–7 at Sun City Resort in North west Province, South Africa, Marked a significant step forward in addressing the economic and social challenges Faced by Women and vulnerable groups. She Highlighted the Need for Gender – Sensitive Procurement, land Rights, and Agribusiness, as Well as the Promotion of Digital Financial tools and Green Economy Entrepreneurship. These Themes Align with South Africa’s national development Plan ( NDP ) 2030 and the african union agenda 2063, Underscoring Financial Inclusion as a Key Driver of Sustainable Development, Poverty Reduction, and Gender Equity.
