2025 Kids’ Choice Awards A Slime Soaked Spectacle
On June 21 2025 Nickelodeon’s 38th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards lit up the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica California. Hosted by global music sensation Tyla the event was a high energy celebration packed with celebrity cameos dance numbers and of course tons of slime .

Opening Highlights & Iconic Moments
Tyla opened the night with a vibrant Best of Summer dance performance joined by DJ Benny Blanco and even Smurfette. Skate legends Tony Hawk and Katelyn West wowed the crowd before awarding The Thundermans Undercover as Favorite Kids’ TV Show immediately followed by slime showers for stars Jack Griffo and Kira Kosarin .
Rihanna made a splash as the first ever recipient of the ICON Silver Blimp Award drenching the crowd in blue slime. Comedy legend Jack Black was honored with the King of Comedy award presented by his Nacho Libre costars before receiving a classic Nickelodeon style sliming .
