I Went on a Solo Trip While Pregnant — Here’s What I Learned

I underestimated how tired I would get. My luggage was heavier than necessary and I didn’t bring enough comfortable clothing or snacks. Lightweight stretchy clothes and hydration options would’ve made a big difference.
- Planned for Rest
I crammed in too many activities forgetting that rest was as important as sightseeing. I learned to listen to my body the hard way but I wouldn’t repeat that mistake.
- Researched Local Healthcare
In case of a medical issue I should’ve known the location of nearby clinics or hospitals. Thankfully I didn’t need them but peace of mind would’ve helped.

Would I Recommend It Absolutely
Every mom to be deserves a moment of solitude before stepping into motherhood. A solo trip during pregnancy — if done mindfully — can be healing enriching and unforgettable. Just plan wisely listen to your body and embrace the journey.
