Prestigious Honour:
In a main boost to Kenya’s journalism prestige five journalists from Nation Media Group (NMG) have been selected for prestigious international journalism training programmes. This achievement cements NMG’s reputation as a top media house in East Africa and highlights the growing international recognition of African media talent.
The selected journalists Brian George, Daniel Ogetta, Fridah Makhoha, Ngina Kirori, and Collins Omulo will participate in elite training fellowships across universally acclaimed institutions, including the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, BBC Media Action, and the AKU Graduate School of Media and Communications Summer School 2025.

The five journalists will undergo Intensive Training Focused on newsroom Leadership, Digital storytelling, media ethics and press freedom initiatives.
