On December 15, the government announced fuel price adjustments for the next fortnight, with petrol prices remaining unchanged. However, the price of high-speed diesel was reduced by Rs3.05 per liter. The petrol price will remain unchanged stated by the Ministry of Finance.

So, the government decided on the price of high-speed diesel bringing it to the price of 255.38 per liter. Kerosene and light diesel prices were also reduced, with kerosene down by Rs3.32, and light diesel decreased by Rs2.78.
