LOS ANGELES — Before Tuesday nights series opener at Dodger Stadium former Dodgers infielder Miguel Vargas was honored with a World Series ring a quiet but meaningful gesture recognizing his contribution to the teams championship run Present at the ceremony were Dodgers GM Brandon Gomes manager Dave Roberts and a few photographers .
“It feels good you know I feel a lot of players dream about something like this” Vargas said postgame “Im very happy to have one Its always good to have that type of reward Happy to see my old teammates and to be back here at Dodger Stadium” .
