Rebel Wilson’s latest film role came with a shocking twist — a near-disfiguring on-set injury she won’t forget.
A Fight Scene Gone Wrong
Okay, so Rebel Wilson, who’s 45, was filming this action-comedy flick Bride Hard when a total freak accident went down. It was supposed to be her last night on set, but during this wild fight scene, a prop gun smacked her right in the face—yep, split her nose open and sent her straight to the hospital!
“It was just a freak accident… my nose got split open, so I left the set,” Rebel revealed in a recent interview.
A Rushed Trip to the ER
The injury was severe enough to require an ambulance and emergency surgery.
“They take me in an ambulance and call a plastic surgeon, because if they didn’t, I would’ve been permanently disfigured,” she said.
Thankfully, the plastic surgeon was able to stitch her up, and today, “you can’t tell” anything happened at all.
Stunt Work, Scars, and Strength
She took on every fight scene in the movie, including one where she battles mercenaries at a wedding.
“I kick butt… it was hardcore,” she shared proudly. “I’ve done karate before, so that really helped.”
