High-Profile Arrest: Andile Ncobo and Wife Face Serious Charges in Western Cape
In a development that has shocked South Africa’s sports and legal communities, former Premier Soccer League (PSL) general manager and ex-FIFA referee, Andile “Ace” Ncobo, and his wife are scheduled to appear in a Western Cape court following their arrest on serious charges. The Couple, aged 46 and 38, Face Allegations of rape and Human Trafficking. The couple’s arrest on 31 October 2024 was the culmination of a multi-disciplinary investigation. According to a statement from the DPCI, the investigation began after a victim manage to escape from her alleged traffickers.The Operation involved Various role Players, including other Government Departments and Non-Governmental Organizations, Highlighting the Collaborative effort to Combat human trafficking in the Region.The victim had been offered an employment contract to work for the couple overseas but was allegedly raped and sexually exploited shortly after her arrival.
