About the Role:
At Darwalla Group, we are looking for individuals who are passionate about their work and committed to delivering high-quality results. If you are physically fit, reliable, and have a positive attitude, we encourage you to apply.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Walking in poultry sheds
- Collecting, grading, and packing eggs
- Cleaning poultry sheds
We provide comprehensive training, so prior experience in the poultry industry is not required. However, a willingness to learn and work hard is essential.
General working hours are typically between 6 AM and 3 PM. We offer flexibility in terms of the days you work, as we operate seven days a week. The number of hours per week can also be adjusted to suit your needs.
Important Considerations:
- Location: Our farms are located in rural areas between Warwick and Toowoomba, as well as in Killarney and Laidley. Having a driver’s license and access to reliable transportation is crucial.
- Biosecurity: Due to strict biosecurity regulations, we require employees to refrain from keeping pet birds, poultry, or pigs and avoid residing with others who work in poultry or pig farming.
- Shower-on, shower-off facilities: Our farms have designated shower areas to maintain a clean and disease-free environment. We provide showers, towels, uniforms, and all necessary safety equipment.
