Dakota Reveals Her Famous ‘Homie’ Name
Hollywood just got a little more relatable, thanks to Dakota Johnson and her hilarious friendship with Pedro Pascal. In a charming and candid interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Fifty Shades of Grey star dished about her “homie” Pedro and his funny fashion habit—borrowing her clothes!
“Pedro and I were homies, yeah,” Dakota confirmed with a smile. “We actually do hang out all the time, when we’re in the same place.”

The crowd lit up with laughter when she explained that Pedro had borrowed her sweater in a now-viral photo of the two at a Stevie Nicks concert in London.
“That’s my sweater,” she laughed. “He does that a lot. He takes my clothes.”
So, get this—Pedro Pascal’s apparently that guy who just rolls up in a t-shirt, even when it’s freezing out! Like, dude, grab a jacket! Dakota totally called him out for his underdressing habit, and I’m cracking up thinking about it.

“Not like he forgot his pants,” she clarified with a grin, drawing more laughs.
A Movie, a Matchmaker, and Maybe a Love Triangle?
Dakota also took time to tease her upcoming movie Materialists, a romantic comedy set to hit theaters June 13.
She stars alongside Pedro Pascal in a story about a successful New York City matchmaker who’s great at her job—but not so great at managing her own love life.
“It’s sort of a bit of a love triangle,” Dakota said. “It’s about figuring out what love really means—and what’s truly valuable in life.”
