The peace of the holiday was violated on the night of December 22. Crystal and her children were in their house near the Christmas tree when Kenney was in a shed on the premises intoxicated and watching an NFL game.
Fight broke out when Kenney came into the house at about 11 p. m. demanding to resume the game. Feeling the mounting threat, Crystal, showed her last heroic performance:
