Job Description:

As a Housekeeping Aide at VCH, your main role is to keep the facility clean and tidy. You’ll be doing tasks like dusting, mopping, taking care of floors, collecting waste, and sanitizing equipment. It’s also important to create a positive and respectful workplace environment following company rules.

Job Responsibility:

As a Housekeeping Aide at Vancouver Coastal Health, you’ll be in charge of:

• Clean and dust different surfaces.
• Mop floors with wet and dry methods.
• Take care of floors using the right tools.
• Clean and disinfect things like ceilings, walls, vents, bathrooms, beds, furniture, and equipment.
• Empty and dispose of regular and medical waste.
• Clean up spills.
• Make beds.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Completed Grade 10 or equivalent training and experience.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to do the job’s tasks.
