Iran Activates Third Nuclear Enrichment
On June 12, 2025, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) officially warned Iran for not being open about its nuclear work. This is the first time in 20 years that the IAEA has made such a strong statement.
The IAEA said Iran did not explain why uranium was found at places it did not declare. Countries like the U.S., France, and the UK supported this warning. Only Russia, China, and Burkina Faso voted against it.
This warning shows that the world is worried Iran might be breaking its promise under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

Iran Reacts: Builds a Third Underground Nuclear Site
Soon after the warning, Iran said it has started a third underground nuclear site. They said this place cannot be attacked or damaged easily. The location is secret.
Iran also said it would start using better machines (called IR-6 centrifuges) at its Fordo site. These machines can make enriched uranium faster. This brings Iran closer to making uranium that can be used in nuclear weapons. This news worried many countries.
Fighting Begins: Israel Attacks Iran’s Nuclear Sites
Just hours after Iran’s news, Israeli jets attacked nuclear-related places in Tehran and Isfahan. Loud explosions were heard in Tehran on June 13.
Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said they will keep attacking if needed to stop what he called a threat to their country.
These attacks have made the situation even more dangerous and might cause a bigger fight in the regionz
UN May Bring Back Sanctions
Because of the IAEA warning, the United Nations might bring back sanctions that were stopped in 2015.
If Iran does not allow checks or stop its enrichment work, the UN could ban Iran’s oil sales, block its banks blance, and stop it from getting foreign technology.that’s technology hit on the world. iran does not allows the different nation people.
Iran does not allows the different nation people. These sanctions could hurt Iran’s economy more and make problems with the EU and Gulf countries worse. iran does not allows the different nation people.

Iran Stands Strong: “This Is Our Right”
Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian, said the IAEA warning was unfair. He said Iran has the right to enrich uranium.
Iran’s atomic agency said it will keep making more uranium. They will only change if Western countries stop using double standards.
Iran also said its nuclear work is only for peaceful use, not for making weapons.
Iran Has More Enriched Uranium Now
The IAEA said Iran now has 408.6 kg of uranium enriched to 60%. This is 50% more than what they had in February.
If they enrich this to 90%, they could make one nuclear bomb. Experts say this makes it much easier and faster for Iran to make a weapon.

Conclusion: The World Faces a Risky Time
The IAEA’s warning has caused a chain of dangerous events: Iran made a new nuclear site, Israel attacked, and Iran responded with tough words.
