Kidnapping Plot Unveiled
Capricorn Clark, Diddy’s former assistant, testified that in December 2011, Combs, enraged over rapper Kid Cudi’s relationship with his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, appeared at her residence armed and forced her to accompany him to Cudi’s home. Clark stated that Combs declared, “We’re going to kill him,” indicating his intent to harm Cudi.
Upon reaching Cudi’s residence, Combs allegedly broke in, but the confrontation did not escalate further. Clark recounted that after the incident, Combs threatened her life and others if she couldn’t convince Cudi that he wasn’t involved.

Arson Attack on Kid Cudi’s Vehicle
Approximately two weeks after the attempted confrontation, in January 2012, Kid Cudi’s Porsche was reportedly firebombed in his driveway. Prosecutors allege that Combs’ co-conspirators set fire to the vehicle by slicing open its convertible top and inserting a Molotov cocktail. Cassie Ventura corroborated this claim, stating that Combs had threatened to blow up Cudi’s car, a threat she took seriously given the subsequent explosion.

Pattern of Abuse and Intimidation
Clark’s testimony also shed light on a broader pattern of abuse during her tenure with Combs from 2004 to 2018. She recounted being subjected to coercive lie-detector tests over missing jewelry, physical intimidation, and threats of being thrown into a river. Clark described enduring years of abuse and fear, leading to stress-induced alopecia.
In another incident, Clark testified witnessing Combs assaulting Cassie Ventura, finding her curled in a fetal position as Combs kicked her repeatedly outside his home.
