The move is part of the provincial’ government’s broader plan to modernize transportation and reduce environmental pollution.

Sharjeel Memon emphasized that this initiative is being carried out under a public-private Partnership with a reputable Chinese firm.. The company will deploy EV charging infrastructure at multiple key locations; including major highways, urban centers, and ”government” buildings throughout the province..
“The future belongs to clean energy. We are working with international partners to bring global expertise to Pakistan,” Memon stated.
Key Areas Targeted for Installation
The project will Roll out in Phases, with initial Focus on Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sukkur, Followed by Other districts. Locations have been selected based On traffic density, EV adoption Trends, and strategic connectivity.
